Where to route power cables?

I am going to install an amplifier in my 91 GT, and I am wondering where would be the best/cleanest way to route the power cables? I know plenty of guys on here are running amplifiers in there fox body. I appreciate your responses!

I have a convertible and my amp is in the trunk. I ran the power cables and rca cables under the 1/4 plastic and under the carpet along the drivers side to the front. When you pull the carpet back on the drivers side you will see the flex loom where the factory ran wiring and there are some small plastic clips holding it. Theres enough room in the clips to attach the wires so they will stay undetectable!

Thanks! Where did you put the cables through the firewall?

No problem man. It's an auto so i put it through with the throttle cable. Once you get it through it's pretty easy to rout it around to the battery.

I did the swap in my 89. When you did the swap, did you remove the rubber plug and reroute the speedo cable thru there?

Yes I did. I kind of wonder why Ford didnt just route the speedo cable there in the first place that way no matter what you had the cable would be in the same place no matter what trans you have.
