Fox drives by with the booming system!

Any of you hatch owners have subs in the trunk? I'm thinking of transferring the stereo out of my BMW. Post some pics if you have em!

Who needs a sub when you have a flowmaster - all that base might drown out the exhaust note......

I made a custom enclosure which is down in the spare well. I also have the amp in there. I was looking to hide all the stuff so I didn't have to worry about getting it stolen.

Mine is only a 10", I could have went bigger, the volume math works out, I just figured 10" was enough.

Oh, by the way, when I get on it, I can't hear the stereo.:hihi:

Copy and paste doesn't seem to work either.

In 1992 I spent $1600 on a system for my car at the time. Oh if I had only invested that money in the right stocks at that time!

I pride myself on adding a brand new Kenwood system with four speakers for 300 buck. Has "full" sound. Not the best system by any stretch but sounds good in a car driven so little.

My days of blowing big money on car stereos are way behind me. Lol

I did cave and bought a portable XM radio that my wife likes in her car.
If I lived in they city an expensive aftermarket stereo is that last thing I would install...

Send a message via Yahoo to spdjnky_42
If you click my camera I have pics of subs installed . Easy option is a 12 in the spare tire hole.
