Anybody know the math for a sub box

Hey guys looking to get subs at some point in the near future (once work picks back up) anybody know how to figure out the mesurments to make a box the one sub im lookin at says it needs 1 cubic foot of space and the other say it needs .6 cubic feet of space im just connfused on how to get that space and how importaint is it to be exact

the volume probably depends on the size of the sub...if it's a cube you need 6 1ft sides for one cubic foot, 0.6 sides for the lesser

Why don't you take a look at JL audio stealth box. They are custom made for your stang and are awesome.
