How do I install door speakers in fox body?

I have a 1988 coupe, and i wanted to install door speakers. But, my car wasn't equipped with premium sound and I'm not sure if the wiring is even there for the speakers. I'd rather see if i can find out in advance rather than tearing the doors apart just to find out. If there were no connections available, what would be the easiest way to wire them? The only thing I could think of was to get an amp, which i don't want to do because i already have one and don't want a second, or just splice the wires for the dash speakers and run them from there.
