Question Want to put a new head unit on a mach system. need help.

Hey guys! well as the title says i am wanting to put a new head unit it, i bought this car a few days ago and the head unit is ALL messed up. This afternoon i went a bought a new JVC double Din unit and a wirinf harness and dash install kit. Well i have heard that it can easily work and ive also been told i need to run all new wires to speakers with a new head unit, so my question is this: To get the JVC unit to work is there anything i need to change due to the dual amp system or can i just take out my mach head unit and plug in my new unit? Thanks in advance for any infomation!

yeah the system uses low ohm speakers and amps, not all decks are compatible..Crutchfield would have the definitive answer... I have a JVC that they sold me with a wire patch kit, works great
