2003 mustang infinity basslink 2 installation help

I was planning to add a basslink for a small and cheap/easy boost to overall bass. Supposedly all that is required is hooking up three wires and no splicing or tapping required. Is this true or will more need to be done? I'm a complete audio noob and am looking for the easiest, no frills wiring. If anyone has a diagram or an instruction manual or just advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

amusing you have an bass amp already hooked up, then yes its 2 wires that need hooked up into the amp, if not you will need to get that amp installed which you would need to run a positive from the battery, remote wire, and audio cables from your head unit to it, then run the negitive to a seat bolt or something. Then hook up the pos/negitive for the sub.

I have just the stock Mach 460 6 cd changer with speaker system. The basslink is a self powered amp and subwoofer if that makes a difference. (Total Speaker Noob Here)
