2005 Mustang Aux In

Hey guys, I'm new here, so pardon me if I mess anything up.

Like I said in the title, I drive an 05, and I've only had it for about two weeks. From what research I've done, I know that 05's didn't come with an Aux Input, but 07 and up did. I was wondering, if by chance I could get a hold of the aux input from an 07 or newer, would it work in my 05? And can I order something like that from a Ford dealer?

I called my local Ford and they had no idea what I was talking about, and the lady was pretty rude. Ive looked online and can't seem to find anything in the way of a factory aux in, just the PIE adapter. I want something a little less bulky (even though the PIE adapter is pretty small) just like a 3.5mm line in would be perfect, and from what I understand this is what the newer ones have.

Any help guys?

Thanks!

You could do an FM modulator that tees into the antenna. As I recall they are about $30.

I tried the FM Modulator, and just wasn't happy with the sound. I live in a large (but not too large) city, and there aren't many "open" radio stations. The signal is always really poor.
