Post Anyone here know Viper alarms?

I have the 5704 model installed but my remote start won't work. It was installed professionalyl and worked but now doesn't. I brought it back and they were boggled. I get 6 blinking lights which means the "hood is open" which it is clearly not. Anyone know how to go about fixing this? Where does the alarm connect to the hood sensor?

Find a small gauge grey wire coming off the brain. Make sure it is NOT grounding or shorted.... This is the hood pin wire... the remote start will not work if this wire see's and ground... It thinks the hood is open and it's a safty feature...Let me know what you find...
