2004 Mach 1000 sub question

Does anyone know the internal volume of the stock 10" sub enclosure on the 2004 Mach 1000? Has anyone hooked a larger amp to the stock subs, if so how well do they handle the extra power. I like lots of bass when I want it but with the very limited trunk space I was hoping to use the stock enclosures if possible with replacement drivers or a larger amp with the stock drivers.

Measure the length, width and hight of the sub boxes the subs are in then multiply the numbers then devide that number by 1728 and u should get the internal volume of the box. I dont know much bout those drivers but im sure the rms of those are around 150-350 or 400 max. In my opinion i would replace the subs (re use the boxes if u can, but if u cant they make different boxes that go in the stock locations that could be a bit bigger for more internal volume) and get a better amp. Do u have the stock head unit?
