Exactly what speaker?

Hello everyone.. im going to be replacing the "sub" speakers in my 2006 gt w/ the shaker 500. And exactly what size fits in there? I looked on cf but i see people saying that 8's fit but not sure which ones all i see is 8 subwoofers that are too big for the doors?

They are 8" subwoofers, but the mounting depth is pretty shallow. Kicker makes a drop in replacement that they sell through Shelby, there is also a Dayton shallow mount (partsexpress.com)

Yeah if you don't feel like fabricating something, than just go with the kicker replacements. Just maybe run an amp to them cause the factory amp is too weak. I think the kickers are 200watt/each @2ohm. Double check on that tho.

Or do the RFs like the other forum member in a recent thread did.
