Where to wire a subwoofer on 2012 Shaker 500 system?

I've tried looking at wiring diagrams but I am not good at deciphering them. Can anyone tell me what wires to splice into in order to install a trunk mounted powered subwoofer? Most places I've read say to splice into the speaker level output wires that go to the door mounted subwoofers. Are they in the passenger side kick panel? If so, what color are the wires and exactly where is the harness? I'm looking at an Infinity Bassline subwoofer that comes with speaker level imputs that will also remotly turn on the amp when you turn the radio on. I'm hoping to do this myself if I can find the correct wires. I'll also be running a power wire directly to the battery and grounding to the chassis, but just need the correct speaker wire colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't know if it matters but it's for a 2012 V6 convertible, premium, WITHOUT navigation system.

Search the forums for the Ford Shop Manual. There are two main versions. Look for 2010 or 2011 version. (Other choice is 2005 generation). From there you can locate correct diagram.

I found your car by accident when I was searching for 2006 diagram.

The output wires are WAAAY up the driver's footwell area... not easy to get to for a big guy. I tapped into the subwoofer outputs (One channel from each sub) to connect my LOC. It did not affect door woofer performance.

Good luck!

Sorry, haven't been on this forum for awhile, but thanks for the info! Busy with work right now, but when I do get time I'll be sure to look this up. Thanks again.
