1994 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Mach 460 help

So after hours upon hours of researching and visiting many forums i still have not been able to locate a for sure wire diagram for my data cable. My dilema being that the previous owner has cut just the data cable (one for the amp/speakers) i need to know which wires go to which etc. My aftermarket head unit will be arriving tomorrow and would like to be able to install it as soon as possible but do not want to just wing it. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance

Last time i bought a car and all i had was a cut wire bundle, went to the parts store and bought a pigtail for that car and just matched color for color.

is your aftermarket unit designed to work with the Mach 460 system? If not you will not be able to use it...you can get patch wiring systems from Crutchfield that allow the deck to connect to the main harness...good luck

Thanks Dstark im assuming a pigtail like you said is just a replacement factory harness?

well no matter what if you don't have a deck made for low ohm speakers it will not work, which basically means if the deck puts out any power of it's own it won't work...better to get what is designed for the Mach 460 to begin with
A car stereo shop or Crutchfield should be able to help you

Update: I used the site for mach 460 info and got the wiring diagram. hooked it up and everything works amazingly, also my deck or head unit is not meant for low ohms but it works perfectly so thanks for any info given
