460 Mach System

I have a Mach 460 system that has 2 OEM amps my HU is a Kenwood-KDC-252U I am trying to connect an Punch 2 ch amp and subs to this unit using a Y adapter to the HU and can't get the full power out of the subs????

that's because the Mach system uses specific "low ohm" components/speakers, so you can't mix and match stuff

Rewire. Buy new speakers all around. With mach once you swap out 1 thing it will never be the same. Basically have to do whole audio system

I rewired and bought a new hu with 2 sets of rca's and what amazing sound that comes out of that Mach system.
