Powered subs vs passive subs. Like are powered subs just as good as far as power

I had a power acoustic with radiator. Played ok but constantly ran hot. Died in 4 months. Got a kenwood amp/sub/portedbox 200w max with remote. Plays very well never a problem. Stock stereo in 03 v6. Been installed since 06. Still working great

I added an Infinity basslink (200 watts) to my shaker 500 a few weeks back and it fills out the sound nicely. I put the adjustment knob inside the center console where the small removable panel is so making adjustments are pretty easy. I read some had issues with early failures so I got a square trade extended warranty. With install wiring kit all less than $200.

2012 GT/CS, race red, auto, HID/Security pkg, Comfort Pkg. BAMA Tune, Borla "Touring" axle backs, Heartthrob cat back with "H" pipe, LED Dome lights, Pioneer TS-D6802R front speakers, GT500 rear mud flaps, Weather Tech floor mats, Back window louvers, Tint, Chrome accents on radio bezels, K & N, Redline hood struts, JLT catch can, Remote start, Eibach Pro springs, Koni SRT's, BMR panhard .
