Head Unit Repair

I have a head unit that I want to get repaired, the CD changer is broke. I have found 2 different places that you can mail in the unit and they will fix it. From research all they do is swap out the CD changer with a in stock one and send it back. They buy the changer from someone else. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can buy the CD changer so I can do it myself?

I'd be very interested too. Let me know if you get a response here.
