2005 Mustang Subwoofer guide

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and this is my first post!

My question is, can anyone direct me to a guide on how to install subwoofers into my 2005 mustang? It is a stock v6 that has the Shaker 500 radio system in it. Everything on the car is stock.

If there is no guides, could you perhaps provide me with the details I need to complete this addition to my car? Great things to know would be if I need an RCA converter or if I can wire a power wire in a different way or any other required items to do the build.

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, the Skaker sends a 5V signal to the subs. Replacing them results in a loud pop when you turn on your system and 12V is sent. Radio Shack sells a voltage regulator for a couple bucks that will eliminate that.

This is something I'm intersted in as well, never really understood car audio. In the past I thought about putting subs in the trunk to make it more like a shaker 1000 system.

Not looking to get something so lound it makes the car a rattle, but a little more bass to the shaker 500 wouldnt hurt. How easy is this to do on your own?

everything is stock in the car. I want to add two additional subs in the trunk (two 8' subs with a 2000 watt amp).

What im looking for is a full guide on what I will need to install this and how to install it but im mainly looking for someone to tell me exactally what supplies I will need to do this. EX: wiring kit, rca converter if I need one or what ever thing will work with a shaker500
