2011 aftermarket stereo jvc

Installed a JVC double din deck kwnt510hdt and went off of a ford fusion wiring instruction because apparently its the same as a 2011 mustang base system. However a long story short the stereo won't turn on. A little back ground would be that I have the metra kit (I ordered the scoshe kit as well to see what I like) however after cutting and crimping wires it won't work... So instead of giving up and bringing my wreck to the shop in defeat can someone give me some advice what I could have done wrong. I believe all the wiring is correct based on multiple people looking at it. Thanks
