Stereo stays on after car shuts off.

I recently got a compustar 2 way remote starter and security system installed in my 2006 v6 manual. Because it is a manual car, when I take the keys out, my engine stays on until I get out of the car and close the door behind me. So then when my car turns off, naturally, my stereo stays on until I open the door to get out (or 10 minutes goes by), but I'm already out of the car. So basically, is there a way to make the stereo turn off when the car turns off?

You could have the door wire pulsed by the alarm when the alarm is armed. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure the alarm has that feature in it. I'm pretty sure it is a pulse after shutdown wire.
