2002 mustang GT Jensen uv10 problems

I just bought my 2002 mustang GT, so far I'm in love, it has a staged clutch, cold air intake, 373 gears and full flow master exhaust, but anyway back to my problem, the GT came with a Jensen uv10 single din touch screen radio, to make it short and sweet it was was sitting in the hole where the other CD player was, I went and picked up a dash install kit for 20$ unhooked the Jensen radio and being the idiot I am, I didn't look at which goes to which, I'm lost, it powers on, but every time I press the button to close the led touch screen it shuts off from movement, and as a bonus no music comes though the speakers!!!? Frustrating!
