Satellite radio sound

My stock radio has a "muddy" sound when playing satellite music. The highs aren't there at all. It sounds great when in FM or Aux/I-Pod. Does anyone else's sound like this?

We had satellite radio in our Flex and I always thought the sound sounded very compressed.

Satellite radio sound will be very poor compared to cds of even mp3s (320 kbps). SiriusXM must compress the music in order for it to be sent quickly by the satellites and terrestrial repeater towers. High quality music would take a long time to buffer and cost more for them to transmit.
