So if I understand you correctly the first pic in the link you attached should have the "turn on lead connected" Correct?
So do I splice in to that wire?

I say that because----I took the head unit harness and tried to connect it to all the 8 pin connectors in the factory harness and were it's connected is the only way to get any sound. Hope that makes sense. So if it was plugged into the CD harness it wouldn't work---correct? NO SOUND FROM RADIO.

So if that is true then the harness it's connected to must be the correct harness. So now I need to connect the "amp turn on lead" to the correct wire on the head unit harness. Correct?

I know this is getting but the blue wire you are talking about is on a harness that I can't get any sound from (no speakers) so that makes me think that isn't the correct harness. Hope that makes
