2012 gt shaker 500 issue

Brought home a 2012 GT Premium with the shaker 500 today, stock. Everything was working fine. Did the little remove sound plug from the tube mod and noticed a red wire just hanging in there, not connected to anything. It was one of those scochse or whatever battery wires for a stereo. I traced it back to its end, in the trunk where it,ended, also disconnected. I noticed a cluster of wires routed running under the rear seat. Didn't touch those but removed other said wire, now my radio is stuck saying mustang gt and that's it. I did every form of battery and fuse reset possible to no Avai. Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like someone had added a backup camera or amp, & then took it out before trading it in. I would take it back to where you bought it & let them look at it. If you tell them about the wire, they will probably put the blame on you, so that`s up to you whether to tell them or not. You should have some sort of warranty.

Also: this belongs in audio/video. I`ll move it.
