2000 Mustang sub box size suggestion

I am new to owning Mustangs, I have a 2000 Mustang V6 Base model, without the premium 460 equipment.

I am wanting to add a subwoofer box and amp to the trunk.

I am not looking to build a window shattering system, just something that is fairly loud.

I am now realizing that the Mustangs trunk is pretty small, and won't take just any ole sub box.

I am hoping someone here, who has a 2000 body and has a decent box in their trunk, can give me detailed box dimensions. Speaker size is undecided at this time, just want some decent bass in the trunk.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

I was getting ready to purchase the MTX box when the car got totaled in 2000
