Inop CD Player

Our 94 GT convertible has what I think is the base AM/FM/Cass and CD player.

The radio works as it should, everything else on the car works except the CD player.

I checked all the fuses.

Is there anything else I should check before I pull the CD player out?

Are these worth repairing?

Does this radio have an external amp,? I may end up going with an aftermarket HU, but I would rather keep it all original. Nothing on this car has been changed and I would like to keep it that way.

Over the hill and picking up speed!

No, they are not worth messing with....really great head units can be had for $50 and come with bluetooth, etc....just upgrade it!

Save the old one to put back in if you sell it. Or find a good OEM unit on Ebay...
