Speaker Adapters

I have been doing some searching but nothing that really helps with the information that I am finding in my Ford service manual.

From the service manual I am finding that the left front speaker is wired differently then all of the rest.

The left front speaker has Pin#1 is + and Pin#2 is -

Meanwhile right front and both rears have Pin#1 as - and Pin#2 as +

With all of this information I am finding that my adapters are pinned correctly for 3 of the speakers but not the 4th.

Can someone confirm that the front speakers are different part #'s

Here is my ford wiring diagrams showing that they are all the same. I bet your wiring diagrams just have that typo. I am posting for both premium sound and the basic sound. First two are premium and last two are the basic. Follow the colors, thats my only advice when dealing with sound systems not the pins. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. I generally use both pin location and colour to ID but since on the forum I figured the best way to explain was the connector end views and pin locations
