2011 Shaker 500 sounds horrible....

Hi all! Anyone else feel their 2011 shaker 500 system sounds completely muffled?

I had a 2007 shaker 500 system and that sounded awesome! I set it up for "rear seats" and it thumped and was crystal clear!

I played around with the settings in my 2011 and I can't get good sound out of it at all.

I really don't want to mess around with changing the head unit, but I might have to.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Thank you!
J

I ended up changing all the speakers, including the door subs, adding a trunk sub and a Shelby / Kicker amp. Sounds great now. Mine is a 2013 but I think Shelby / Kicker make kits for the 2011 too.

Thanks, Jeff. It's a shame the 2007 sounded very good (stock) and the 2011 is so bad....

I was hoping there would be a few EQ tweaks to use that could make it sound reasonable...
