Upgrading base stereo to Bluetooth?

I made a mistake. I don't listen to the radio in the car much, but it's partially because the seemingly easy task of hooking up the 3.5mm jack to my phone has become irritating. Honestly, I dont really listen to the radio all that much, but lately I find myself wishing I had Bluetooth. I didn't think I'd feel this way when I spec'd the car out almost 4 years ago.

Can I upgrade to a used OEM Bluetooth stereo, or is it not worth it, and I should go aftermarket? I honestly like the temp gauge, dumb I know, but I'm admitting it. The sound quality of what I have now is fine for me, I just don't want to have to hook up the stereo cable to use my phone. Just kind of looking for options. Thanks in advance!

I used a stand alone Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the aux port. It works great and I love it. I got it on Ebay for like $15.

Does that always stay on though? No issues with that?

I use one of http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GX71GNO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage plugged into a normal USB accessory adapter. It works great, and is reasonably priced.
