Thumbs up Just bought a 67 fastback on Sunday

Hey guys!
I'm new here. I just bought a 67 390 for 13 grand yesterday. It is my best friend's Dad's car and I've wanted it for about the last 15 years. Unfortunately someone put a moon roof, hood scoop, and leg pipes on it so that will have to go. Otherwise, I am more than thrilled to have this car!!

Wow, I'm jealous. I agree the hood scoop along with the splash shields, the sunroof, and the blue dots in the tail lights need to go. $13k, you should be arrested for stealing. Nice score and congrats.

While the fastback is not my favorite style, I do like the 67 Mustangs. I miss the ponies on the rear seat that were discontinued in the premium interiors though.
Nice car. It will be a lot nicer with the correct roof, hood, exhaust and fuel cap along with the other fixes to make it right again (mud flaps, tail light jewels, etc.)
It's not that big a job to put a new top on those things, but it is some time. Once it's done, you will have a nice car.

Scoop isnít that bad but I prefer original too.
Splash shield are awful as well as sunroof, they have to go.!
I was going to ask what the heck are those holes/dots in the center tail lights.?

Congrats for an awesome car, enjoy it when you have it ready.!!
