Project jumpstart questions/opinions 69 429 coupe

Hi all!
This is my first post so thanks for reading. I’m jumping back in to my college daily driver, a 1969 coupe 302 car that my dad and I swapped a big block 429 out of a 71 T bird into with the attached 3 speed C6.
My question(s):
Where’s the best place to start on a car that’s been sitting for the better part of the last 4-5 years, but has been run on a weekly basis?
Carb (Holley 4150) just been rebuilt, and all fluids have been replaced.
I’ve always thought of this car as restomod and never really worries about keeping it totally in the past. I’d love some ideas about quality of life improvements that you’d recommend as well!
Thanks for your opinions and feel free to ask any questions of me!

Welcome to AFM.

What restomods are you more interested in. Interior, exterior or mechanical?

Inspect the brakes, fuel lines, and the age of the tires. As far as mods, that's all up to your personal taste.

Replace the tires and drain and refill all fluids in the car for a start. I'd also do all hoses and belts while your at it.

Looking into better headlights, but that’s about it for exterior that I’ve been able to think of.

As far as interior, I put a retro sound stereo in and that’s about it. Everything else is bone stock. I’ve been trying to find some inspiration/ideas on some quality of life or convenience mods.
