1965 C4 linkage and bracket

Good day all, I just got done redoing a 1965 C4 from a Mustang. I have one small bracket left that I can't for the life of me recall which bolt it was under and what it held. Any advice and photos will be much appreciated.

Hi Tom and welcome.
I don't recall a bracket like that anywhere on a C4.
There is a 90* bracket under the lower R/H bolt on the servo cover plate that accommodates the return spring for the kick down lever.
What you might have could be used the same way I guess.

Tony, thank you. This one is thinner and has never been broken and not sure how a spring could attach. You bring up another point. The book shows the 65 should have a kick down rod attached to along bracket that is pushed down at WOT. The one has the 66 and later cable type kick down lever. I am not sure what it should have but maybe this is yet another of FORD's many mid year changes??

The little tab goes to the servo side to stop the tab from spinning when tightening the bolt.
In 50 years anything could have happened to the kick down cable, rod or brackets. You can buy the brackets repro from anywhere.
The one in the picture is a 66 with a cable as well.
