Headers for a 66 with AOD

Ok I need some guidance here. I have a mid 80's 302 with AOD transmission in a 1966 Coupe. I want to install headers, but I do not know what to go with.

I wanted some TRI-Y headers, but in this older thread:
https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ad.php?t=45292
I had found that Windsor fox says you cannot use long tube headers and they suggest shorty headers.

But in this older thread:
https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ad.php?t=31898
I am told that short headers won't fit.

Does anyone with an AOD in a 65/66 have some advice for me?

What WF says is untrue. Know a guy with ceramic coated Flowtechs on his 66 302/AOD. IIRC he had to tweak them outwards a little but that was all. only thing is ground clearance isnt so hot with the FLowtechs

66 coupe 5.0/T5, home-brewed power 4 wheel disc setup, 350hp+, looks like it belongs in 1968

What about Tri-Y headers, that would be my first choice, if it fits.
