So I was alone last Friday night, wife out of town and nothing on tv. Decided to
head out to the Friday night street legal drag races at the local strip to see what was what.

As always, the starter would try to pick matchups that would be interesting to the viewers.
Around here, about a third of the racers are in trucks like F150's and the like. So, when
the matchup was Hellcat Challenger vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee I thought the starter was
asleep or maybe a bit of a dope.

Wrong. Hellcat with slicks goes 10.27 while the Jeep with street tires goes 10.25.

Watched for the Jeep for the next few rounds because it was so incredible.

Is it be really so wrong for me to think a Mustang with AWD would maybe not
be such a terrible thing?

Just a thought.
All the best.

Sure was. Trackhawk. Very impressive.

Unbelievable what comes out of showrooms these days. If you want a thrill ride go test drive an Audi RS7. Heavy car but with the launch control the 0 to 60 is crazy fast. Full warrantied pure luxury with over 600 hp and just over 3 seconds 0 to 60.

And pretty much every brand has something that fits into this category.

What a great time to be a driver!

Yeah my local Mopar dealer has one too, $97,175 sticker, cool but not that cool, even if it runs low 10s.
