I have read these auto tranny are weak. my question is how do I get the most out of a 05 gt with cai, full exhaust and tuned by Lito ?

do I leave it in D or what? do I hold brakes , rev it to 1000rpm and launch? or just hammer time on throttle? lol

you will get a better launch with traction control off in drive holding RPM's just above idle and stabbing it on launch.

when trying to brake torque to get RPM's up creates wasted energy.

the back end wants to raise during the brake torque then you slam it back down on take off.........wasted energy.
