Pretty sure that 28" is as tall as you can go with "off the shelf" wheels without rolling/altering the wheelwell. I've seen a S197 GT500 running 29" Mickeys but I talked to the guy and he said that he had the wheels custom made by Bogart and paid big $$.

29.5 will move and hit the front without a fourlink, mine even adjusting everything to center would knock my side skirts off

Hey! Little late i know but i'm letting you know as promise I finally put the car back together and now the tires are on. Honestly, they're almost as close as the street tire i had on it and i can't see how it would it the skirts. The skirts aren't on the car yet but i took picture before and i can see that it isn't closer from the fender which i'm clearing fine. But, important point is that i'm on the stock spring on the back(not dropped) and i don't think it would fit at all on a dropped rear end.

Also some of you might be interested it this. We indeed can fit 15in wheel on the front which i think looks way better than 15/17. All we have to do is to use the stock caliper bracket and rotor(you can keep the same caliper) from a 2005-2009 v6 since they use smaller rotor.

Hey GabLeGrand...have you had a chance to take the Stang out with the 29’s on her yet?
How did she do? Any rubbing issues?
