Kooks Headers

Hey, looking for headers for my 16 GT. Been looking at Kooks and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Kooks? Are they worth the price? Any suggestions or tips would be great!

They are pipes... not sure what you want to know. If they fit and clear all your components, what more do you want them to do? Is there a fitment guarantee? If not, keep looking.
I have always made my own and never bought ready built ones myself.
If you have the skill and tools to make your own for less, they are overpriced, if not and you want them I guess they are worth it to you.

The kooks headers are also well-known for not causing O2 sensor issues as some of us have to experience with the other brands and its mostly because of the way kooks place their collectors

I've been running them, along with their catted H- pipe with "green" cats for a couple years now and no issues. That was the main reason I payed for them.
They pass emissions!!!

08 GT 5spd

20% tint, smoked markers and tail lights w/sequentials. Clear front signal covers, series 3 chin spoiler.

I reccomend just getting custom.

I wanted forward facing exhaust.......

The shorties were reccommended for my application. those turned out to be a nightmare no matter what I did to adjust.

I still would of had to get them ceramic coated. I ended up sending them back and thankfully because I took lots of photos I got a 100% refund.

The bottom headers.....Stainless steel made tube by tube will never have a fitment problem and dont have to ever worry about ceramic coating.

I paid $200 more for the custom!!!!

oh and as you see the stainless is the whole exhaust vs. just shorties. I didn't get that far.

I have kooks long tube headers and the catted H pipe on my 2013. I had them installed by a speed shop as they are a bear to install and required removal of much of the front end. They are great and well worth the cost. Go for it
