on a 10.1 car not so easy.......

if that was the case i'd be running 7's.......
I agree here Reg. You hit those walls that are hard to jump over without a ton more hp.

Think about just doubling your horsepower once you get into the low 9's to hit the same number in the 8's. Not an exact science, but think about the kind of hp you need to go 8's, 7's, and then 6's.......

And I believe your avatar has been the same for a really long time. Shouldn't you be seeing the light (as n HEADLIGHTS) by now!

So with my 150-200 shot can I get at least a 1/2 sec.?

You should be able to pick up a 1/2 second.....

But then the extra power will create a new set of traction issues....

It is always a never ending battle when chasing single digit ET's......

Someone say something else so I can be the #700 post!

I'm gonna have to come up with somekind of another video against the Shine's. After all, this tread is about Team Reese Vs. Shine Crew. But as stated waaaay back somewhere in this thread, my team has made me solo! A one man team sitting here holding the BB fort down by my damn self!! I don't know what happen to my P/T (part timer) member Tim!:hihi:

Reg... is just stuck in the middle, he don't know which direction to go in. Don't know if he wants to go all out or hit the brakes at the line! Dan (Stroked95), spending too much time in the pen with the inmates.

Bullitt......what you gonna do? Bracket race or go all out. I know you coming from auto crossing which I respect...I have some expirence in that also even though it was a POS car I did very well for what I had, I have some 1st and 2nd place plaques to show.

My bracket racing friends......Mike, Kaz, Joe.......Hope you guys got new brakes on your Christmas list's so that you can slam on them at the stripe! lol :hihi:

Then what the hell was that!

Are you CLOSER to getting to the track? Ready for the dyno? What kind of psi do you run in your front tires? What kind of angle is your tach turned? Do you smoke a cigarette before you make a pass? Do you take your kicker box out before racing?

So if you don't answer any of these questions just means you except the fact that your a grouchie old fart trying to keep me from being number 700! Lol

Now see that's just hurtful. Here we were all getting along so nice and enjoying this mother of all threads and you have to slam us poor bracket racers. Anyone with enough money can build a fast car, but to win at brackets you gotta know how to drive.

Don't get me started. Us old farts are cranky enough as it is, and now I have over 4 months with no racing facing me so I'm extra cranky!

OFR - old fart racing

We're not the fastest car at the track but we might be having the most fun.

If you're not having fun, then you're taking this stuff too seriously!
