Not to dig up an old thread, but browsing through pic of time slips on google and bam my car! Never happens to me! Thought it was pretty cool! Carry on.
There was an 06gt at the track a while back, here are the mods,

It is a 3.55 gear car with a BBK CAI, Diablo Predator with a custom tune from [email protected], BBK LT's, O/R X, and Bassani AxleBack. The car has 100% stock suspension except for a front sway bar delete. I was also on my old set of M/T 26x11.5x16 slicks in back. maunual trans, I seen him pull the stock front tire on launch, just a little enough to see day light.

Just gonna show you this, where you can know what to expect with sticky tires and practice.
