Finally got my stang to the track

Had this car for about 8 months bought it as a semi roller. i put stock E7 heads on it that i knocked the emission hump out of,TFS1 cam, stock rockers, stock upper and lower intake, stock throttlebody,24lbs injectors and c&l meter. Its a 5 speed car with unknown gears (seems like 3:55's or 3:73's) and full exhaust. No suspension work is done as of now. Lastnight i ran a 14.4 at 72 spinning the slicks. I lowered the tire pressure and on the second run went 13.1 at 101. The last run i ran a 13.0 at 102 and spun alittle after i hooked. I think if i take the 10 holes off the front next time i race i should get a 12.9 i hope

I hear you about fun & reliable. This makes me miss when mine was a 12-second stocker.

Or if you can't afford it then slap on 2 spare tires and make sure their psi is up.

I am sure if you plan with the timing some also with your launch 12's can be attained.

Ok everyone i took the stang out lastnight to Cecil with skinnys on the front and ran 13.0's all night lol. The track wasnt there for anyone as the prep work sucked. Only did my car cut a best 60' with a 1.65 but lost it with a 3rd to 4th shift [to early lol]. So now im going to take some weight off and try that.....off the car lol

1.65 is pretty decent. You're SO CLOSE to the 12s! Keep it up!

I'll help you out with the suspension when you're ready.

Got to remember this is a stock motor with a TFS1 cam only. Heads are stock with emission hump removed, stock intakes, stock throttle body full weight car. I think its running fair for not messing with the fuel and timing alot. The 102mph is good for a high 12 just couldnt pull it off for some reason
