Nissan w a cummins diesel

Have any of y'all driven one? I think they're advertising it as a truck that's bigger than a half ton but not quite a 3/4, so I guess that'd be a 5/8 ton. It looks kinda expensive for what it is, v8 cummins rated at 305 hp and 500 some odd tq. It also comes with 5th wheel receiver. Would y'all take that over a domestic half ton or no way?

"Heavy 1/2 ton" is what pickups like this are often called. GM even sold a 1500HD for several years in the mid 2000s but it never had a diesel. I have a 2002 Duramax and the Cummins in the Titan is actually rated for slightly more power despite it being 25% smaller. 310 hp and 550 lb-ft is very good for a 5.0L V8 diesel.I'm absolutely in favor of smaller diesels and turbo v6 gas engines in the lighter duty pickups. I'd love to see the 4.5L diesel that GM supposedly shelved in the late 2000s too.

I haven't driven the Titan XD but it seems to be a very good pickup- good looking too. However, there is no way I'd ever pay that much for any pickup. It seems like I keep telling myself that pickup prices have gotten out of hand but that trend just keeps continuing.

Same with the giant grilles. I'm over that one too.
