Some say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But they’ve probably never seen this Mustang.

It’s a car with many styling influences, parts borrowed from other cars, and more metalwork than some body shops will see in a year. And if you like it, it’s for sale.

Underneath is a 2007 Ford Mustang V6. The custom work starts with headlights from a Lotus Elise and ends with taillights from a 1989 Cadillac. In between are a second-gen Camaro-inspired grille, a lower intake that looks like a Panoz Roadster, and side strakes that could have been from a Testarossa. If the TR had early 2000s restraint instead of 1980s excess when it was penned. The different styling elements are interesting, but there is a jarring lack of flow.

There are some cool details, though. Like the clamshell nose that pulls open. And the Vortec supercharger that sits on the V6 engine. There is some impressive metalwork at play here, even if it’s not to everyone’s taste.

If you like it, it’s for sale in Carmel Valley, California, and the $5,995 price seems surprisingly reasonable if you just want to buy it and put it out of its misery.

That is one fugly car. It really makes a fashion statement with the red overspray on the tires & wheels. Personally I would not take it for free. YMMV
