shelby 2010 shift knob for 2008

I like the shelby 2010 white shift ball, does any one knows if i need to buy only the shift knob or i'll need the shifter handle for my 2008 gt500 allso?, is the 2010 shift knob tread the same than the 2008?


2005 satin silver GT 5 speed, red leather, shaker 500, predator, CAI, Charge motion plates, custom exhaust, azev 20" wheels, pirelli Pzero, window louvers, hood scoop, cervinis lower side scoops, reflective white stripes, from steeda: billet tower strut brace, springs, wing, spliter, billet lower trailing arms.

You can not fit the new ball on an our body. The thread is different. You can get the arm and adapt it but the actual arm sits slightly closer to the passenger side and closer to the arm rest. It is uncomfortable from what I heard and this is from the guys who have actually done the swap.
