New to the site new to Mustangs

Hello all. I am currently a BMW M3 owner and will buy a 2010 or 2011 GT500. I will buy it in about a year. I am in the Army and will deploy to Iraq and buy it on my return.

Are there any good links for body kits, lowering kits, engine mods, and wheels?

Thanks and I hope I can participate in this great forum.

Hey there! Thanks for your service, and welcome to the site.
A couple of vendors that recently caught my eye are:

Revan Racing Mustang GT 500 performance heat exchangers and radiators Florida | www.revanracing.com 2009

SHELBY GT 500 PARTS

Evolution Performance, Performance Parts & Accessories - Ford Mustang & Shelby Experts

EVO seems pretty popular with some people. I just recently picked up my GT-500, so don't have many sites bookmarked yet. Another good vendor, if you're wanting to improve handling will be:

Strano Performance Parts - Parts Search

Be safe!

'08 Bullitt -Highland Green
'09 GT-500KR -Black/Black

There are not that many body kits for the car really. There are a butt ton of performance parts though. Check out Lethal Performance. They have everything you need from lowering kits to getting the car into the 8's. There are not that many wheels available because of the Brembo's up front. Most go with a forged wheel which is gonna be very expensive.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome. I know cars are addictive. My BMW is already heavily modded, Super charged and Nitro'ed as well. I love doing the work myself if I can. I hope to get my GT 500 by late December 2011 actually.

I want to:
1. Lower it
2. smack some forged rims on it
3. upgrade exhaust
4. performance chip
5. short shifter

I was thinking of going to the Hennessey group: Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) - Home Page
