Radiator covers for 09 GT 500

Hi, new to the forum. I've looked on several sites for a radiator extensions for my 09 GT 500. I am hoping to get the extensions, then get them painted, including the stripes. Most extensions I've found say they don't fit the GT 500. I also would like to keep my stock hood prop rod. I have found a couple, but they require replacing the prop rod with hood lift kits.

Anyone know of anywhere extensions are sold for the 05-09 GT 500s? Here's a couple pics of the new ride - I had a local shop replace the vinyl stripes with painted ones.

I appreciate any advice....

Radiator Extensions

Hello, John, I don't believe you know me, but I am another SF retiree. Eric and Bryan have been telling my wife and me a great deal about your Shelby. Sweet ride! I really like the ghost painting.

Like you, I have been trying to locate non-carbon fiber radiator extensions for our '08 Shelby GT500. I have finally found a vendor in Texas who indicated he carries the pebble finish radiator extensions but that they are currently out of stock. He is supposed to let me know when they get them back in. I'll let you know as well if you like.

Hope to see you at the Twin City Cruise-in at College Hills tonight. Eric is planning on being there with all his new modifications.

Take care.

Don

Google a company named "Bangastang" - they sell the painted (incl. stripes) one piece covers.
