I have been told by a representative at Shelby American that the only changes to the 2011 will be: (1) new colors and the termination of certain colors (e.g. Grabber Blue), (2) the glass roof option, and (3) possibly some other cosmetic changes (e.g. rims). He had heard about the aluminum block, but wasn't sure Ford would have it ready for the 2011 GT500. I have also heard from other sources is that the Shelby contract has expired. They don't know if it will be renewed for the 2011 model, which may explain why Ford is going back to the Boss model.
