what factory width are Mustang gt500 rims?

ive been looking up specs and i think its 18x9.5 but is it the same for front and back then and whats the best tire size to put on them? i want new rims that will be probably 18x9 and 18x10 but cant afford them right now but i deffinatly need new tires now sadly. ill just put the new tires on the rims i eventually buy once i get them probably as it looks like they will work for both rims since they are so close in size.

I have GT500 replica wheels and they are 18x9.5...

All wheels are 18X9.5. Fronts are 255/45-18, rears are 285/40-18.

Tires for GT500

I put a set of M/T 305/35/18's on the back with the OEM wheels and they worked great, no adjustments needed. These were drag radials I used at the track and they were pretty smooth on the road. I recently put a set of NITTO NT555R's on the back and they are 305/45/18. They look really good, a little taller tire than the M/T's, and they fill the wheel well up without needing any adjustments to the car. If you are going to run the car, stay away from the NT555R's as they do not hold the track if you are pushing a lot of horsepower. Hope this helps. Of course you could always blow 1600 bucks and get you a set of Bogarts (wheels and tires) for the back that work great. You just can't drive them on the street.
