2007 Mustang Shelby GT 500 clutck problem

I just bought a 2007 Shelby GT 500 with 22,000 miles...I notice that when i am in 4th,5th and 6 gear that if i press the gas the car just revs and does not take off. 6th gear is most noticeable when i press the gas it just revs...5th and 4th gear sometimes when i press the ags it responds then just revs without taking off. Does anyone know if i need a new clutch or is this something else.

Yup, new clutch. This problem has been happening to ALL GT500's up to about mid-2008 models, research and you'll find some information on it. Have fun spending $3000 By the way, dealerships will give you a bunch of crap, tell them that thousands of GT500's have had this problem.

Sorry, hope it gets fixed soon.
