2007 Mustang Shelby GT with supercharger throttle problem

I had a Edelbrock supercharger placed in my 2007 Mustang Shelby GT almost a year ago now but just recently started having problems with the throttle. 2 months ago during lunch I was at a stop sign and in first gear when I took off and went into second gear the cars RPM revved to 4500, I placed the car in neutral and turned off car. When I started it back up a few minutes later it was fine. It did it again about a month later and then again a third time about another month later. I took it to the dealership but of course they can't find anything wrong. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

I think those cars are "drive by wire", something may be wrong with the pedal or sensor it uses to acclerate
