Question Which shifter for 2009 GT500?

Looking to upgrade the shifter in my newly purchased '09 GT500. I had an MGW in my '09 GT, & in my '03 Mach 1. Loved them both. I'm curious about the FRPP one that I saw on Buyfordracing.com. I really like the white knob w/Ford Racing on the sides, but I just wonder how good it is? Is it basically the same shifter that comes in the 2010+ GT500's?

You may want to check out our Tri-Ax shifter: Steeda 2007-09 GT500 Mustang Short Throw Shifter - Made in the USA 555-7307

Great quality piece that's made in the USA and features a lifetime warranty. I have one in my '06 and love it.

Let me know if I can help you with anything.

I would go with the MGW. I don't think that there is a better shift for a GT500.

I had the Steeda in my 2011 GT, but it does not compare to a MGW unit. All new parts. Excellent quality throughout.

2012 Shelby GT500. White - Stripe Delete. Corsa Exhaust.

2011 Mustang GT - Premium. 6 Speed MT, 3.55 Gears. Sterling Grey, CS Front Lower Valance with Boss 302 Splitter, 2012 Boss 302 Wheels, Airaid Cold Air Intake, and Corsa Extreme Exhaust. Boss 302 Radiator and Oil Cooler. Steeda Sport Lowering Springs, Heavy Duty Strut Mounts, Adjustable Panhard Bar. Koni STR.T Struts and Shocks.
