2007 GT 500 crank pulley

I have been told it is important to upgrade the lower crank pulley on my 07 shelby.....is this a must do for reliability?? If I do, should I not consider an aftermarket pulley with 10% overdrive?? Kill two birds with one stone??? Thanks, David:?:

The stock one is heavy. The 08+ is like half the weight. It will free up rotating mass meaning it will be easier for your motor to rev. If you do a OD pulley you will need a tune, so keep that in mind when pricing out parts.
