'13 GT500 conv-what to expect
Well ladies and gentlemen,
I've finally taken the plunge and and sold my restored 69 roadrunner and traded in my low milage, never winter/rain driven 2012 Mustang GT on a 5000km '13 Shelby convertible.I've never owned a convertible or ever had the desire to, plus, I'm folically challenged, but it was such a good deal and from a friend that is the general manager at a Ford dealership, I couldnt turn it down.
I have a few question and I'm sure I can you all can help.
First, how solid is the convertible? Any flexing, noise, Creaking you have noticed withe the convertible? The coupe was solid.
Any improvements on the standard Shaker audio system? Once I replaced the front speakers in the GT it was fine. Need to do the same on the Shelby?
Is there an oil life monitor on the Shelby?
How bad is the tire stone flinging situation with the F1 tires?
I'm tired of shows about vampires. I want to see killer umpires!
